Privacy Policy
Effective June 11, 2026forward is a small app with a simple job: it emails your notes back to you on the day you choose. This policy describes everything it collects and why.
What we collect
- Your email address — so we can deliver your notes. That is the entire reason the app asks for it.
- Your notes — the text you write and the date you want it delivered.
- Usage analytics — anonymous event counts (app opened, note sent, account created) via Mixpanel, so we can tell whether features are used. No advertising identifiers, no tracking across other apps or websites, and nothing is sold to anyone.
Where it lives
Notes and account data are stored with Back4App (Parse), hosted in the United States. Delivery emails are sent through Mailgun. Both act as processors on our behalf and don't use your data for their own purposes.
What we never do
- We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
- We don't read your notes. They're queried only by the automated job that emails them to you.
- We don't send you anything except the notes you scheduled.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete Account removes your account and your notes. This is immediate and permanent. You can also email us (below) and we'll do it for you.
